Bronte Off Road Bike Challenge 2025

The Sue Ryder Bronte Off Road Bike Challenge is an annual event that takes place in Bronte Country to raise funds for Sue Ryder’s expert care.
The event is organized by the Manorlands Cycling Events Fundraising Group and sponsored by All Terrain Cycles and Pure Lettings Residential.
Participants can choose from four routes named after characters from the Bronte sisters’ works: Anne, Emily, Charlotte, and Heathcliff.
Each route offers a different distance and difficulty level suitable for mountain bikes, gravel bikes, and cyclo-cross riders, including e-bikes.
The event is scheduled for 2025, marking its 16th year, and all entry fees go directly towards supporting Sue Ryder’s care services, thanks to the generosity of the sponsors.
Entry fees for the early bird rates are as follows:
Anne route (13.9 miles): £15.00 for individuals and £30.00 for a team of four
Emily route (22.3 miles): £25.00 for individuals and £80.00 for a team of four
Charlotte route (26.4 miles): £25.00 for individuals and £80.00 for a team of four
Heathcliff route (35.6 miles): £25.00 for individuals and £80.00 for a team of four.
Participants are encouraged to raise additional funds through sponsorship, with those raising £50 or more being entered into a prize draw to win a mystery bike-related prize from All Terrain Cycles. All participants will receive a bespoke water bottle from Pure Lettings Specialists.
The event is held in Haworth, and while there is no obligation to raise additional funds, it is encouraged to support Sue Ryder’s vital care services. Team participation is also encouraged, allowing groups of four to sign up together for any of the routes.
Andrew Wood, the Community Fundraising Manager for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, expressed his delight at bringing the Bronte Off Road Bike Challenge back for 2025.
