The European beer market is highly competitive, with major players such as Heineken, Carlsberg Group, and Anheuser Busch InBev focusing on e-commerce platforms to cater to changing consumer behaviors.

Beer exports by value totaled $17.2 billion in 2023, with the top five exporters being Mexico, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and the United Kingdom, together accounting for over two-thirds of global beer exports.
