UCI Gravel World Series Results 2025

Mads Würtz Schmidt and Geerike Schreurs both won their respective races at the Turnhout Gravel event of the UCI Gravel World Series in Belgium. Mads Würtz Schmidt won the men’s elite race with a time of 3:35:24, finishing ahead of Magnus Bak Klaris by four minutes.

Geerike Schreurs won the women’s elite race despite facing multiple flat tires, finishing with a time of 4:12:09.

In the women’s race, Wendy Oosterwoud came in second, followed by Teuntje Bekhuis in third. Sophie Wright and Clara Lundmark finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

Schreurs described her victory as a result of perseverance, stating, “I had several flat tires and had to chase back multiple times. At one point, I rode over 35 kilometers on a flat tire.

But I kept pushing, and in the final 10 kilometers, I attacked on the technical singletrack”.
