Vedangi Kulkarni is a notable Indian cyclist who made history by becoming the youngest female to cycle around the world in 2018.

She started her journey on July 17, 2018, from Perth, Australia, aiming to become the fastest woman to circumnavigate the globe unsupported on a bicycle.

Her expedition covered approximately 29,000 kilometers and took her through 14 countries. She completed the journey in 160 days, making her the fastest Asian to cycle the globe at the time.

Her route included phases through Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and Asia, before returning to Perth to finish the record.

Vedangi’s achievement is remarkable given that she only caught the cycling bug following a trip to the Indian Himalayas a year prior.
